We are a community of women with a special bond. Our Jewish identity and gender bond us together with the purpose of supporting one another, Temple Beth-El and our community. Our umbrella organization is the WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism), which is an affiliate of our national organization, Union for Reform Judaism. Over 65,000 women belong to the WRJ.

The WRJ Sisterhood of Temple Beth-El is devoted to our mission of supporting our synagogue and Temple Beth-El School by our participation in events and through our fundraising. In addition, we are committed to social action in our community-at-large. We enjoy the spirit of connection with other like-minded women, and we also have fun while we participate!

All our members are volunteers who contribute their time as they are able. Our membership is diverse and brings a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Each can select from a variety of events and projects through which they can apply their efforts toward our collective mission.

Please join us for the coming year. If you are a returning member, consider renewing at a higher level than last year. If you are new to Temple Beth-El, your first year of membership is free!

Ready to join? Simply fill out our membership application (must have Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat installed)and return to the Temple office. Or, complete our online application. We look forward to having you as a new or renewing member of the WRJ Sisterhood!
